In recent years, as the country has tightened its environmental regulations, waste-to-energy companies have been ramping up boiler operating parameters to meet these stricter standards, creating favorable conditions for growth in the boiler wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant industry. On July 17, Evergrande High-Tech (002591) told a reporter from China Securities Journal that the company has seen a rapid increase in order volume this year. The firm expects to achieve a net profit of approximately RMB 12 million to RMB 17 million in the first half of 2018, thanks to the gradual recovery of its wear- and corrosion-resistant business—representing a year-on-year growth rate of 204.15% to 247.54%.
