HVOF supersonic flame spraying technology utilizes high-pressure oxygen combined with fuel (either gaseous fuel or aviation kerosene) to create a high-temperature, high-pressure, and high-speed gas flow through a specialized spray gun. This process propels powder particles delivered by the feeding system into the gun at supersonic speeds, where they are sprayed onto the workpiece surface.
